QLT Inc. (QLTI) Stock Soars on Possible Sale
Biopharmaceutical company QLT Inc. said Wednesday it is considering the sale of all or parts of the company as it tries to improve shareholder value.
QLT's board formed a special committee made up of three independent directors to review all strategic options.
The company said it is currently looking at proposals from several investment bankers and plans to name a financial adviser soon to help with its assessment.
