Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 5th

Cramer began his show Friday saying how well his "Four Horsemen of Tech"; Google (GOOG), Research in Motion (RIMM), Apple (AAPL), and Amazon.com (AMZN) are doing. "$80 to $120" stocks list. The stocks were Boeing(BA), Caterpillar(CAT), ConocoPhillips (COP), Air Products(APD), Apache(APA), Terex(TEX), and Energizer(ENR). Cramer admitted that he recommended these stocks too late in the bull market, and that most of these stocks fell after he first recommended them . They are up 5% now, and Cramer thinks that these stocks are the "perfect group." He likes CAT and TEX the best, followed by COP.
Overlooked IPOs: Masimo (MASI). Cramer believes that it has a superior product and a great recurring revenue stream with purchases of disposable parts for the medical sensor they make.
After the lightning round Cramer talked about Allergan (AGN). Cramer said people have a desire to look good, and this stock is in a great position to profit, while moving into traditional medical market. He then had the CEO of the company on the phone to discuss future earnings and sales.
Mad Mail: Cramer answered a few emails. He told viewers to ignore the downgrade on Boeing (BA) since he thinks the stock is going higher. He then answered a question about FiberTower (FTWR), which he doesn't like. In response to another emailer, Cramer said he likes Starent (STAR) because it's an intellectual property play.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Aug. 6th

The Unsinkable Jolly Dow
Cramer said the Dow rise of 280 points was "recognition... that maybe something could go right," amid the crisis in housing with "terrible" pin action in other sectors. He added the government can be part of the problem or part of the solution and reiterated his hope Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke will cut interest rates. If the Fed doesn't reduce rates, Cramer says a few other solutions may alleviate the problem somewhat, especially if Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson makes refinancing easier, institutions like Morgan Stanley report a clean bill of health, the Chinese take a major stake in a mortgage company, or if William Buffett rescues a troubled lender. Otherwise, 7 million people could lose their homes and mortgage institutions will have to merge in order to survive.
Allergan (NYSE: AGN - News): "The Costco of Better-Looking Body Parts"
"Even if 7 million people lose their homes, they'll still want to look good," Cramer said, and reiterated his well-known theory that the wheels of Capitalism are greased by the desire for wrinkle-free skin. As bullish Cramer has been on AGN, he says the stock is bigger than he imagined, with a 24% increase in Botox sales, making AGN the most rapid-growing eye company in the world. AGN should rise on the FDA's approval of the use of silicon for breast implants and the company should have a "hammer lock" on the business, according to Cramer. AGN also produces a lap band, which crimps the stomach and facilitates weight loss. Even if there will be widespread misery, Cramer still believes AGN is destined to go higher.

CEO Interview:Curtis Anastasi, NuStar GP Holdings (NYSE: NSH - News)
Anastasio blames weakness in the energy sector for the company's lackluster performance, and says bearishness on the stock is undeserved, since NSH is a "toll taker," does not buy or sell oil directly and is not exposed to high prices. Cramer thanked Anastasio for clarifying NSH's situation, and remarked to viewers," Don't throw everything away."

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Aug. 1st

Running Away from Home: Bank Index (BKX)
Cramer would not only get out of housing stocks, he suggests investors may want to leave their homes altogether. This would be a "smart, right, rational" choice if home equity has declined 10%. He would also sell the Bank Index and mortgage companies; "the ripple effects extend pretty far and are pretty ugly."
What Works: Lululemon Athletics (LULU), Garmin (NasdaqGS: GRMN - News), Allergan (NYSE: AGN - News), Under Armour (NYSE: UA - News), Crocks (NasdaqGS: CROX - News), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN - News)
Cramer likes LULU, which was up on one of the market's darkest days. He also recommends GRMN, which rose 8 points and AGN because the "wheels of capitalism are greased by our need to have wrinkle-free skin." Cramer notes UA and CROX are both up and comments they have both been good trades, although he thinks UA will be better in the long run. His favorite defense pick, RTN, was "robbed" of reaching $60 after its report, but Cramer thinks its heading there.
CEO Interview: Jack Hartung, Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG - News)
Cramer asked Jack Hartung how the company is dealing with rising food prices. "It was worse by 100 basis points this quarter," he said, but stressed the rising prices are not affecting business because CMG uses higher quality food to begin with. Hartung mentioned two factors which are creating growth for CMG; "We look at the quality of real estate we can secure and the quality of managers we're developing." The company motivates managers by paying them a $10,000 bonus for every crew person they develop to become a manager. Cramer predicts the stock will rise tommorrow and would only sell when CMG has has three analyst upgrades (currently CMG has one upgrade).

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap May 14th

Winner CEO: Fred Hassan, Schering-Plough (NYSE: SGP)
Cramer said he is dedicating a weekly series to "transformational CEOs" who have "managed to turn around dead franchises into living, thriving ones." In 2003, Fred Hassan took the helm of SGP, and replaced Richard Kogan, who left the company with $1 billion in debt and was "the worst of the worst" among CEOs. Since then, the stock has doubled and Fred Hassan has led the company through ten straight quarters of double-digit sales growth. Currently, SGP has a pipeline full of new drugs and Cramer believes the stock will go higher.
Not a Chicken on Earnings: Buffalo Wild Wings (NasdaqGS: BWLD)
One of the top conference calls this season was BWLD, and Cramer believes its "excellent" CEO Sally Smith has the company under control. Same store sales were up 8.7%, and earnings per share increased 58% year over year. In addition, the cost of the BWLD's food is not being affected by rising corn prices. Cramer feels the company will underpromise and overdeliver, is a regional-to-national story and is a long way from its saturation point.
A Healthy Choice: Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG)
Another winning conference call was that of CMG, whose CEO, Steve Ells, expressed confidence that CMG is outperforming its competitors. After the call, the stock reached a new high of $83. Steve Ells commented CMG is not wasting money and resources on revamping its menu or coming up with unusual marketing techniques or themes, but is featuring "green" food from naturally raised beef and cows which have not been treated with synthetic growth hormones. The company saw a 46.2% increase in earnings per share, and raised its guidance. Cramer is bullish on CMG.
CEO Interview: Medicis Pharmaceutical (NYSE: MRX) Jonah Shacknai with Allergan (NYSE: AGN)
Jonah Shacknai is skeptical that investment houses and analysts have MRX's numbers right, since the company does not publish numbers. He adds MRX raised its guidance. Shacknai discussed Solodyn, a drug which has been successful and has room to grow. Another drug, Restylane, is safe and effective for treating wrinkles, has done well overseas and should perform well in the U.S, he said. Cramer said he likes MRX along with AGN.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap April 27th

At Your Laser: Ionatron (NasdaqGM: IOTN)
One stock Cramer likes for the CNBC Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge and even more for an actual speculative play is IOTN which produces lasers. The company makes both lethal and non-lethal lasers which are effective in locating and detonating explosive devices. The stock fell from $14 to $5 last May when it was passed up for a military contract, but IOTN has improved its technology to fit devices on existing vehicles, and Cramer predicts it will get the contract this time around and squeeze the shorts. He would do homework before buying the stock.

A Roll of the Dice: Penn National Gaming Inc. (NasdaqGS: PENN)
Next on Cramer's list of attractive takeover targets for private equity firms is PENN, a gaming company which is not among the most famous names, but gives "regular people all over the country the opportunity to foolishly flush their hard-earned money down the slots." The purchase of Harrah's is proof that private equity firms would consider a gaming play, and since PENN is smaller and cheaper, it would be easier to purchase. He predicts PEN will be taken over at a premium; "I think this one could make you over 30%, if you play your cards right," Cramer said.

Game Plan for the Coming Week: Vulcan Materials (NYSE: VMC - News), Avon (NYSE: AVP - News), Quest (NYSE: Q - News), Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG - News), Medco Health (NYSE: MHS - News), Wyndham Hotels (NYSE: WYN - News), General Cable (NYSE: BGC - News), Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG - News), Buffalo Wild Wings (NasdaqGS: BWLD), Allergan (NYSE: AGN - News), Transocean (NYSE: RIG - News), Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN - News), American Railcar (NasdaqGS: ARII), Celgene (NasdaqGS: CELG), Charter Communications (NasdaqGM: CHTR), Level 3 (NasdaqGS: LVLT), Anderson's (NasdaqGS: ANDE), Estee Lauder (NYSE: EL - News), KBR Inc. (NYSE: KBR - News)
Monday: Cramer said the best strategy for the coming week is to grab winners ahead of their reports, and added there are so many great names, it may be hard to choose. On Monday, he likes VMC, up 82% with room to run.
Tuesday: Cramer has freed AVP from permanent residence on his Sell Block segment and predicts AVP will hit a "homerun." The stock is up a little over a dollar and has great BRIC exposure. Although Quest has had a 43% gain, Cramer is still backing it, and anticipates the announcement of a buyback or a dividend increase. He thinks PG will join the ranks of Pepsi and Coke thanks to its international success. MHS is "a member of the pantheon of consistency if there ever was one," since it is leveraged to drugs going generic and off patent. Cramer likes WYN as a baby boomer play and expects rosy numbers. After the bell, GC is a pick Cramer believes will go higher, although it has had a recent run-up. Concerning CMG and BWLD, he said, "I praise these stocks endlessly and correctly. I'm not stopping now."
Wednesday: Although Allergan is up 23% and "everyone is freaking out about competition," Cramer is not worried. He still likes RIG, but since it has risen 11%, Cramer would wait for it to come in a bit. He is also bullish on rail stocks TRN and ARII.
Thursday: Cramer says CELG has been "perking along" up from under $55 in February to over $61 now and predicts it will rally. He would sell CHTR before the quarter and buy it back. He reiterated his bullishness on LVLT and noted its strong organic growth and improved balance sheet. Cramer is looking forward to witnessing a short squeeze when ANDE reports; "We're going into ethanol harvest season. What are these people thinking? Go long, not short." He also likes EL as "the quintessential weak-dollar play."
Friday: Cramer suggests viewers invest in KBR "the only overlooked infrastructure play left on Earth," and says KBR will follow other giants in the sector, which have rallied.
Mad Mail, Cummins Engine (NYSE: CMI - News): Cramer congratulates those viewers who heeded his call to buy CMI and made some money; "We really nailed that one," he said.

The stock grows at 35%, It has the ability to go up another 30-40 points. I want to buy ISRG. I like that stock very much.'Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS - News): 'Oh, you know I like that company. That is really well-run. I've liked it for 50 points.'Mueller Water (NYSE: MWA - News): 'I just got their annual report. I think it looks real good.
