CNBC's Fast Money Recap Nov. 19th

The Dow closed down 218 points and the Nasdaq fell 43 points on Monday. Finerman sees storm clouds are everywhere and the Goldman downgrade of Citigroup (C) really hurt the markets. Najarian had a fun day trading. He also thinks the financial sector is in big trouble and he is extremely worried about General Motors (GM) which fell below $27.
Louise Yamada, a highly ranked technician on Wall Street, joined the show to discuss her analysis on the technicals of the market. She is currently worried that the S&P 500 could break 1406, which would signal to her an end of the longer-term uptrend. Yamada is still bullish on Cisco Systems (CSCO) and she would look to buy pullbacks on the name. She looked at the chart on Broadcom (BRCM) calling it a sell because it hasn't followed through after a false break-out. The chart on Coca-Cola (KO) is initiating an uptrend according to Yamada, so she would be a buyer of KO. Bed Bath and Beyond (BBBY) should be sold.
Retail
Nordstrom (JWN) reported a 22% rise in third-quarter profits helped by an extra week of sales.
Sears Holdings (SHLD) disclosed it has taken a 13.7% stake in Restoration Hardware (RSTO) and the possibility of proposing an acquisition.
Target (TGT) is set to report earnings Tuesday before the opening bell.

Lowe's (LOW) dropped 7% after reporting a 10% decline in profits due to the weak housing market.
Celgene (CELG) bought Pharmion (PHRM) for $2.9 billion. Adami thinks that Phizer must make a similar acquisition.
EchoStar (DISH) shares exploded higher Monday after Citigroup said there was a 65% chance that AT&T (T) will buy DISH.
Ultimate Fighting is now the fasting growing spectator sport in the United States. Macke says look for growth in cable companies and satellite companies like Viacom (VIA) and EchoStar. He also thinks makers of energy drinks like Coca-Cola will benefit. He said avoid the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) because the UFC is taking share. Lastly, Macke speculated that Anheuser-Busch (BUD) could be near a beverage deal with the UFC.

Pops - Xerox (XRX) traded up 2%.

Final Trade
Macke would purchase Dicks Sporting Goods (DKS) and Target on any selloff Tuesday

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Nov. 14th

Cramer began Wednesday's show talking about Wal-Mart's (WMT) good quarter and investment ideas from its conference call. Cramer remarked how well GameStop will do during the holidays and how other consumer electronics will continue to be strong. Cramer disagrees on digital cameras because they're made in China making them hard to buy right now. He does not like Garmin (GRMN) either. In computers, Cramer supports Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), which Wal-Mart is not a big carrier of. They do sell Dell but Cramer prefers HP. He mentioned Activision as a possible investment for video games, but prefers GameStop.
TV's: Cramer considered Corning (GLW), who are involved in liquid crystal display televisions. It is not trading as high as it should be, but has a raised outlook in pricing. It has bendable fiber not priced in the stock and is heading much higher.
Am I Diversified?
The first caller had Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI), Ford (F), AT&T (T), McDonald's (MCD) and Human Genome Sciences (HGSI). Cramer called HGSI too speculative and said he'd rather see the caller in a stock like Celgene (CELG) instead.
Another caller held Daimler (DAI), Coca-Cola (KO), Google (GOOG), Celgene and CVRD (RIO). Cramer blessed the portfolio.
The final caller asked if he was diversified with Apple (AAPL), Occidental Petroleum (OXY), MetLife (MET), Cisco (CSCO) and Yum! Brands (YUM). Cramer suggested the caller swap out of MetLife and into Prudential (PRU).
Tetra Tech (TTEK) CEO Dan Batrack joined Cramer on the show, where he said his company beat fourth-quarter expectations due to increased margins. He said they had a great performance on earnings.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 26th

On Friday, Cramer interviewed Mitt Romney, Republican candidate for president in 2008. They talked about his business background, his plans for the country, and his campaign.
"Speculation Friday" Cramer talked about a stock that he has been bearish on since he began the show. The stock is Skechers USA (SKX), which he thinks is poised for a turnaround since it beat earnings this week with strong revenue growth and international growth. If the company can expand its margins as the CEO promised, Cramer thinks this can be a $31 stock.
Cramer then went to the phone lines. The first caller asked about Nike (NKE) and their acquisition of Umbro, which Cramer likes and wishes he hadn't sold. The next caller asked about Heelys (HLYS), and Cramer said to stay away.
Before the Lightning Round Cramer did some housecleaning. First he said that he likes Starent Networks (STAR) again, since the price has dropped down to where he first recommended it. Next he said that Synta Pharmaceutical (SNTA) is risky, but Cramer likes it a speculative play. He also said that he likes Celgene (CELG) better.
Cramer's Game Plan for next week. Since the Fed is meeting next week, Cramer focused his plan on ways to profit from the results of the meeting. He thinks we will get a half point rate cut on Wednesday. His first suggestion is Annaly (NLY) since Cramer thinks they saw the mortgage crisis coming, and were prepared to profit from it. The next stock is FMC Technologies (FTI) since it helps oil companies find more oil, and it reports earnings on Tuesday. The next stock to buy is Transocean (RIG) since it is not affected by the poor US oil drilling market, and its merger with GlobalSantaFe (GSF) will close in about a month.
Cramer said that you should buy half your position in these stocks on Monday, and then buy the rest after the Fed announcement, since there is a chance that the Fed won't cut rates and that the market goes down because of it.
Wynn Resorts (WYNN) and Las Vegas Sands (LVS). Finally, Cramer answered an email that asked about these stocks. Cramer thinks that they are both well run companies.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 25th

Today's show started with Cramer putting on a straitjacket because the market is driving him crazy with all the wild swings going on in the major indexes. Psychiatric Solutions (PSYS) was his first recommendation of the day. It is the largest mental health service provider in the US. Cramer thinks that this stock is safe from all the problems in the market, and that it has a solid base and potential for growth. He is bullish on the stock and thinks that it could be worth up to $60.
Cramer then took some phone calls. The first caller asked for some good diabetes plays, and Cramer gave her Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK) and Novo Nordisk (NVO). The next caller asked about Synta Pharmaceuticals (SNTA), and Cramer said he needs to do his homework on it.
Cramer's most recent pick from "Microtrends" was Gamestop (GME) because the book says that the average video game player is now 33 years old, meaning that gamers have more money to spend on games and consoles since they are adults. Cramer also likes that the company has expanded outside the US. The stock has pulled back recently, so Cramer thinks the stock is a buy now, and that it could go up to $57.
"Sell Block." Cramer started by stating that Align Technology (ALGN) was one of his worst calls of the year since they guided earnings lower after this quarter. The next stock is Hansen Medical (HNSN), and recommends you sell so you can lock in a quick $11 gain since he recommended it, plus Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) is selling its share of the company. He also asked people to sell Lululemon (LULU) and Research in Motion (RIMM).
Cramer's final trade was Celgene (CELG), and he had the COO of the company on the show to talk about the upcoming prospects for the company's products. It is down, but Cramer still likes it.
he then talked about Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) and had CEO Lonnie Smith on the phone. They talked about the company's main product, the da Vinci surgical machine. Cramer thinks the stock is going much higher.
Sudden Death. Denbury Resources (DNR), which Cramer is bullish on. The next stock was Charming Shoppes (CHRS), which Cramer is bearish on. The next stock was LifeCell (LIFC), which Cramer likes. The next stock was Quintana Maritime (QMAR), which Cramer likes, along with Diana Shipping (DSX). The last stock was Delta Air (DAL), and Cramer said that he likes United (UAUA) better.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap Oct. 22nd

Cramer started off Monday's show by recommending a stock that he thinks is inexpensive relative to its earnings and growth. The stock is Google (GOOG), which reported huge earnings on Thursday, and Cramer thinks it is cheap because the drop in the market on Friday kept investors from pricing the growth into the stock.
Cramer then went to the phonelines. The first caller asked about Celgene (CELG), and Cramer said to back up the truck since it's down 6 points. The next caller asked about SINA (SINA), and Cramer said that Baidu.com (BIDU) and Focus Media (FMCN) were better China plays.
Apple (AAPL): Next Cramer said Apple is cheap after the earnings they reported today, but the cheap stock that he really likes is Intuitive Surgical (ISRG). Cramer thinks that this stock is even cheaper than Google, and it also did well on Friday due to strong earnings. He thinks they will continue to grow, and that earnings will stay strong as they sell replacement parts for their surgical instruments.
After the lightning round, Cramer went over another stock that he thinks will benefit from another trend he found in the book "Microtrends." Also skin cancer has been increasing rapidly, and Schering-Plough (SGP) owns Coppertone, making it the best play on this trend. SGP's CEO was on the show to talk about the most recent earnings report and the future prospects of the company.
Cramer then did a segment on Seaspan (SSW), a container shipper. He discussed the company with the CEO, and then said that he thinks the dry bulk shipping stocks are best, but this is a good container shipper.
Sudden Death. The first caller asked about Unit (UNT), which Cramer doesn't like because it's a domestic oil driller. The next caller asked about Cypress Semiconductor (CY), which Cramer likes because it has SunPower (SPWR) as a subsidiary. The last caller asked about MedcoHealth (MHS), which Cramer gives two thumbs up.

Jim Cramer's Stop Trading Sept. 14th

Buy Monsanto (MON) and Syngenta (SYT), Jim Cramer said Friday on CNBC's "Stop Trading!" segment.
Cramer said the agricultural bull market is a "rising tide" for all the seed stocks, from Monsanto and Syngenta on down to DuPont (DD). Cramer concedes that Monsanto is pricey -- around 40 times earnings, the same multiple as Celgene (CELG), Cramer said -- but he says its opportunity is greater because it owns more patents than Syngenta and Americans are more positive about genetic engineering than Europeans.

Jim Cramer's Stop Trading Sept. 6th

Celgene (CELG), Gilead (GILD), Cephalon (CEPH), Biotech HOLDRs (BBH), Airgas (ARG): After three years as a bear market, biotech can be bought, said Cramer, who is bullish on Celgene, Gilead and Cephalon. Jim Cramer's Stop Trading Aug. 20th

Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM - News): Cramer would stay off the Fannie Mae bandwagon, since the Bush administration and the FNM's top regulator, James Lockhart of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, have a "chokehold" on the company's mortgage portfolio. Cramer would not make a move unless this changes.
Countrywide (NYSE: CFC - News): Cramer says he needs to see evidence to back up the bank's bullish comments.
Lamar (NasdaqGS: LAMR - News), Celgene (NasdaqGS: CELG - News) and PDL BioPharma (NasdaqGS: PDLI - News): Lamar's video billboards may be too "eye-catching" and may be limited due to safety regulations. He is not sure about CELG, because it should be working but isn't. He sees PDLI as a possible takeover target after the departure of CEO Mark McDade.

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap July 30th

Doomsday Scenario: MDC Holdings (NYSE: MDC - News), DR Horton (NYSE: DHI - News), Pulte Homes (NYSE: PHM - News) and Toll Brothers (NYSE: TOL - News)
Cramer created a doomsday scenario which probably will not happen, since the bank crisis in 1990 was "ten times worse" than the problems of today. However, he would avoid any companies which deal with borrowing and lending money, particularly housing: DHI, PHM and TOL. The only housing stock that isn't hopeless now is MDC, but Cramer would still not buy. He would also avoid financials amid bearish fears that loans will not be repaid and yields will shrink; "You can't own anything that even walks by a mortgage," Cramer warned. He would not touch companies which need financing for deals. However, Cramer added; "the worst-case scenario will be derailed," and the doom and gloom will not really materialize
If Ben will Budge: Centex (NYSE: CTX - News), Lennar (NYSE: LEN - News), Bear Stearns (NYSE: BSC - News), Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS - News), Citigroup (NYSE: C - News)
Cramer discussed two scenarios which could reverse doomsday: overseas buyers and an interest rate cut. He is confident that if the Federal Reserve reduces rates by only one percent, housing will make a comeback (especially DHI, PHM, CTX, LEN), financials GS and C will recover and the Dow will jump to 15.
Playing it Safe: Celgene (NasdaqGS: CELG - News), Kellogg (NYSE: K - News), Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB - News), Medco Health Solutions (NYSE: MHS - News), Kimberly-Clark (NYSE: KMB - News), Amazon.com (NasdaqGS: AMZN - News), Google (NasdaqGS: GOOG - News), Apple (Other OTC: APPL.PK - News) and Research in Motion (NasdaqGS: RIMM - News)
Even if the Fed doesn't budge rates, investors can still create a safe portfolio consisting of CELG, K, SLB, MHS and KMB. He also directed viewers to his six wild bull markets: oil and oil services, agriculture, machinery, aerospace, infrastructure and minerals, and his four horse men of tech: AMZN, GOOG, APPL and RIMM.
Mad Mail: Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BAM - News), Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD - News), ValueClick Inc. (VLCK)
Cramer urged a mailer not to sell BAM, because it is an international company, unaffected by subprime woes, and is similar to Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway; "If you sold Warren Buffet because of a housing problem, forget it!" To a mailer concerned about RAD, Cramer said, "The integration is going very well. I'm holding your hand on RAD, and begging you not to sell it." Concerning VLCK's bad quarter, he commented, "I don't have my arms around it yet. To me, the stock looks like it's going to see $18, before you see a bottom."
