Jim Cramer's Mad Money Stock Recap June 13th

Cramer's Little Red Book: Cnooc Ltd. ADS (NYSE: CEO), China Mobile Ltd. (NYSE: CHL), Seaspan Corp. (NYSE: SSW)
Cramer says he is being dragged "kicking and screaming" to devote a program to Chinese stocks, adding he doesn't like the overheated market and the Communist Chinese government. He considers CEO, CHL, and SSW as relatively stable stocks, but he would wait for a pullback before buying. CEO is the top offshore drilling company in China and 67% is owned by the government which means some "anti-competitive advantages," says Cramer. In addition the company has rights to 51% of all successful discoveries in offshore China, is expected to grow 30% by 2008-09, and is one of the few oil companies which is replacing reserves faster than it pumps them. CHL has 68% of all Chinese mobile subscriptions in China, and wireless is expected to double in five years. Even if China Telecom enters the wireless game, Cramer predicts it will buy CHL. Finally, SSW is the largest company in the ship leasing industry, and Cramer thinks its 6% yield could go higher.
Much ado about Baidu.com (NasdaqGM: BIDU), Focus Media (NasdaqGM: FMCN)
Cramer's first speculative Chinese play is FMCN which makes digital billboards and, "has momentum and consistently raises numbers." Cramer commented "Baidu is the only company in the world that is beating Google at it game." The stock has had a "huge run" but is still undervalued. Cramer would wait for both of these stocks to come down before buying.

Morgan Stanley (MS), Goldman Sachs (GS), Bear Stearns (BSC) and Lehman Brothers (LEH) CEO Bonuses

Investment bank Morgan Stanley's (MS.N: Quote, Profile , Research) Chief Executive John Mack has been awarded a bonus worth about $40 million in stock and options for 2006, according to a regulatory filing on Thursday. However, Mack's compensation is likely to be topped by one or more of his rivals, according to a report published on Friday on The Wall Street Journal's Web site. The paper said that Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS.N: Quote, Profile , Research) Chief Executive Lloyd Blankfein's compensation will exceed $50 million, citing a person familiar with the matter. The paper said that is believed to be a record for big-firm chief executives. Analysts say they expect a handful of other CEOs could make $40 million to $50 million or higher, including James Cayne of Bear Stearns Cos. (BSC.N: Quote, Profile , Research), Stan O'Neal of Merrill Lynch & Co. and Richard Fuld of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (LEH.N: Quote, Profile , Research), the WSJ reported.

New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) CEO Confident on Euronext Merger

NYSE Group Inc. (NYX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Chief Executive John Thain said on Tuesday he was confident that shareholders of pan-European bourse Euronext (ENXT.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) would approve its planned merger with the New York Stock Exchange. "Yes, I'm confident," Thain told reporters at the CEIBS business school in Shanghai, his first stop during a four-day China trip. Thain added that he believed European regulators would approve the merger soon after shareholders of both companies voted for it. Last week, Paris-based Euronext said it would ask its shareholders to vote on a proposed merger with NYSE Group, parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. An extraordinary shareholder meeting for the vote will be held on Dec. 19. Euronext in June accepted a $10 billion takeover proposal by NYSE, a deal which both firms say is a merger of equals.
